Women are portrayed in a negative way as they are normally the ones who give in. In the advert it shows the woman as being weak and tempted by the smell of the man. This shows the typical stereotypes of women who are the followers.
The advert is attracting young males, in this advert both the man and woman were aged around the early 20’s.lynx’s objective is to attract those of a social economic class of C2DE and sometimes may aim their product at a target audience of around 15-18.

Nike advert
Men vs. women
The advert is produced by the Nike Company and it is to promote its running products which are targeted at middle-aged men and women aged between 20 and 25
The advert represents women in an alternative way as they are competing with men in a sports event. This is showing that women are competitive and want to be treated equally to men. We know this as at the start of the advert the women shakes her head when she see the poor results by women and she feels need to compete to make women proud and stand up for what’s right.
Nike benefits as it promotes more women to buy its product and also encourage more competition for women.
